Out Of Season is a Danish seven-piece funk band from Copenhagen, established in 1990. The band performs a mix of its own compositions and cover versions, is still active, and has played over 250 concerts in Denmark and across Europe — with recent shows in Copenhagen, Berlin, Leipzig, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Nice.
The music is inspired by the world's most unique voices of funk and soul — everything from Mr. Thing and the Professional Human Beings to Tower Of Power, Maceo Parker, Defunkt, James Brown and more.
All members share a deep passion for groovy music with roots in the last century's old-school soul and funk. A band that will probably never stop playing funk.
